Are you feeling lost in a digital maze? Or perhaps a friend or family member would benefit from learning more about their digital device? Hope in the Community is here to help YOU make the most of your digital devices whether this is a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop – android or iPhone.
We offer FREE essential skills training with one to one digital tuition for anyone aged 50+ in North Ayrshire – please contact us for more information and to book an appointment. We regularly review our days and locations so get in touch and let us know where you would like to see a group or 1-2-1 sessions.
Hope in the Community supports people aged 50+ across North Ayrshire to gain essential digital skills. Whether you are using an Apple or Android smartphone, tablet or laptop (iPad/iPhone, Kindle, Samsung, Nokia etc) we can help you learn how to use your device effectively and safely.
We do this with one-to-one support so you get all the initial support you require guiding you through the basics of using your device including:
– how to use your device
– finding your way around email
– how to browse the internet
– how to stay safe while you are online
– using social media, Zoom and WhatsApp etc to connect with family and friends
Once you have completed your free sessions, you may wish to move on to our small group sessions where you can learn more about using the internet and your device.
Many of our learners begin with zero, or almost zero knowledge of how to use their devices and progress to being confident in the use of email, video calling, searching the web and even sharing what they have learnt with others by becoming a digital volunteer.
Please get in touch if you need some help to stay connected.
This is where CLASP Digital learners can find information and links relating to the digital environment.
