No Strings Welfare Rights Help

Our Welfare Rights Advice Service uses trained volunteers to provide

  • Basic welfare rights advice.
  • Assistance with form filling.
  • Assistance in maximising income.
  • Benefit Checks using the Lisson Grove Benefit Programme.
  • Issue appropriate benefit leaflet.
  • Supply of budgeting loan, community care grant and crisis loan forms.
  • Supply tax credit forms.
  • Information on other agencies appropriate to welfare rights/dept advice.
  • General information and advice.
  • Help complete social fund applications.
  • Access further benefit forms from the internet.

As a voluntary organisation we are not here to judge cases but to provide free confidential basic welfare rights support – we give people a hand onto the welfare ladder and support them along the climb.

This service is run from C.L.A.S.P’s premises and through outreach surgeries. If you think you, your client group or your organisation could benefit from using this service or perhaps having a surgery run from your agency then please contact the project on 01294 602711.
