Publicity Officer

CLASP needs volunteers who would be interested in promoting our organisation and the services that we offer. We currently provide a variety of useful services which are available to people throughout North Ayrshire however people outside our local community may not be aware of our service. We want volunteers who would enjoy promoting our project via a multitude of mediums.

Duties

Make new contacts with groups/organisations and venues who would have a client group that could benefit from our services.
Update existing contacts of CLASP's changing and developing services.
Create new ways of advertising our services - including new venues for publicity material.
Maintain CLASP's publicity materials.
Represent CLASP at venues.

Training

No formal training or experience needed as full appropriate training and induction into CLASP, our services and ethos will be given, a full understanding of CLASP and our services will be needed as part of this role and full training in this will provided.

Expenses

Any volunteer travel expenses related to the role of publicity officer will be covered by CLASP. We may also be able to help with child care.

Time Commitment

Time commitment will be discussed with volunteer co-ordinator.
