Hope Benfriending Project Volunteering:
Volunteer Befrienders will:
- Provide companionship by visiting an older person in their home.
- Encourage community connectedness by arranging group meetings, social events and lunch clubs.
- Ensure that older people are informed about benefits and services to which they are entitled by providing the support of an Information and Advice worker.
- Supply Benefit Forms & Information Leaflets
- Assist in completion of forms.
